Full Day Eastern Everglades Adventure
Join us on our Eastern Everglades Adventure Tours and see this amazing area from the eyes of our professional and well traveled naturalists. We offer both full day and half day tours. Our tours have the smallest group size of 8 people to one guide and we also offer private tours as well for both of these tours(please call for private prices). Our eastern everglades full day is a multi activity adventure with kayaking, light hiking and stopping at key points in the park searching for wildlife with our spotting scope and binoculars. On our tours we will keep our eyes out for ospreys diving for fish, alligators searching for sun, crocodiles resting on the bank, wading birds on the morning hunt and much more. We start by stopping at a famous board walk for birding and alligators in the morning. After that our guests will follow our naturalist guides in the comfort of their own vehicles to the kayak destination for the day. Our naturalist guides will give everyone a safety talk and give people advice on how to paddle through these sometimes challenging marshes and mangrove tunnels. This part of the tour is a great way to see the marsh and mangrove systems of the eastern side of the Everglades. This kayak adventure will be about 2 .5 hours and we will eat lunch in our kayaks with an amazing view in the middle of the Everglades. After lunch we will paddle through the meandering mangroves and head back to our launch spot. We will then head south to flamingo stopping along the way for a couple light hikes in search of wildlife and viewing the different ecosystems in the park along the way. Once we get to flamingo, we will walk the shore of Florida Bay and search this amazing area being our scope to search for more birds and American crocodiles floating in the water.
This is an excellent way to see the Everglades as a whole in one full day and it’s great for wildlife enthusiast and people looking for an adventurous day.
We also offer private tours for early risers, big groups, or people that want a personally customized tour. On our private adventure we customize the tour to your specific group needs. If you are looking to join our full day tour with the smallest group per guide ratio in the park at one guide to 8 people. This trip doesn’t run daily like our western Everglades tours so please contact us in advance. We look forward to paddling with you on either side or hopefully both.
